Terms and conditions

1. What Reservar.do is
Reservar.do is an intermediary platform (an online travel agency) that connects guests with properties — hotels, resorts, villas and apartments operated independently by their own owners or managers (“partners”). Reservar.do does not own, operate or directly provide the accommodation service: that service is provided by each partner under its own responsibility. By using the site you accept these terms.
2. Guest and partner accounts
You can book without creating an account: when you confirm a booking you receive an 8-character code and a 4-digit PIN that let you look it up, contact the property, leave a review or open a claim without signing in. Creating an account is optional and lets you see all of your bookings together and take part in the Reservar Plus loyalty programme.
Partner accounts are not created by self-registration: a business interested in listing its property submits an application (/socios), Reservar.do reviews it manually, and only once it is approved is access to the partner panel enabled.
3. Prices, taxes and currency
The prices you see include the applicable taxes and fees (ITBIS and, where applicable, tourist tax) and are shown itemised before you confirm. The actual charge is always processed in Dominican pesos (DOP); if you choose to see prices in dollars (US$), that amount is purely for reference — the charge to your card is always in DOP.
4. How your booking is paid
Reservar.do never charges or holds your money. Depending on the property, you pay on site when you arrive, or by card directly to the bank account/payment gateway (Azul or CardNET) that the property has configured — Reservar.do acts only as the technical intermediary for that charge and does not store your full card number. Any refund for a cancellation is processed by the property itself, through the same channel used for the charge.
5. Cancellations and changes
Each rate has its own cancellation policy (some are free until a deadline, others are non-refundable) — you always see it before paying and in your confirmation. To cancel, change dates or request a modification, write directly to the property from your booking confirmation page.
6. Reviews
You can only leave a review about a property if you had a real, verified stay there — we do not accept reviews from anyone who did not book. The property may reply publicly to your review. Reservar.do may hide reviews that break basic content rules (offensive language, personal data of third parties, content unrelated to the stay).
7. Reservar Plus programme
Reservar Plus is an automatic loyalty programme: the more bookings you confirm over the last 2 years, the bigger the discount on your next booking. It requires no sign-up and has no cost. Reservar.do may adjust the tiers or benefits of the programme going forward, without affecting discounts already applied to confirmed bookings.
8. Partner obligations
Partners are responsible for making sure that the information about their property (availability, prices, photos, policies) is accurate and up to date, and for providing the accommodation service booked under the published conditions. The only revenue Reservar.do earns from this service is a commission on completed bookings, invoiced monthly to the partner — Reservar.do charges no subscription and has no tiered plans.
9. Acceptable use
It is not permitted to use the platform to create fake bookings, to try to bypass the commission system by contacting a partner outside the platform after finding it here, to publish offensive or illegal content, or to attempt to compromise the security of the site.
10. Liability
As an intermediary, Reservar.do is not responsible for the quality of the service provided by the property, except for failures of the platform itself (for example, an availability error at the time of confirmation). Any dispute about the stay itself is handled first directly with the property, through the messaging channel or the claims system of your booking.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or in applicable regulations. Changes take effect once published on this page; bookings already confirmed remain under the terms in force at the time they were confirmed.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. See also our Privacy policy and Cookie policy.
